DescriptionYoung, old. Rich, poor. Single, married. In every tribe and nation. Everyone has family.
No other need speaks into every single human heart.
That's why FamilyLife's vision is to reach the world one home at a time. We believe that God can make every home a godly home.
But we need you -- Your creativity, your wit, your energy, and your passion to help us continue making marriage and family relevant to today's families and the next generation.
God has gifted you with a unique set of skills and career interests you can use in a variety of roles at FamilyLife—marketing, sales, content, publishing, event planning and production, business, finance, IT, web design and development, radio broadcast, graphic design, donor development, human resources, etc.
So, what are you waiting for?
Consider joining us at FamilyLife for a one-year internship or short-term summer internship and use your passions and skills to help develop godly marriages and families who change the world one home at a time.
Are you ready?
ResponsibilitiesThere are many and varied intern assignments, so the answer is not simple. You will serve in your role-specific area of ministry approximately 3.5 days each week, be equipped through personal discipleship about a half day each week, and participate in evangelistic outreaches through local partnerships one day per week.
Although the majority of your time will be devoted to your work in the office, you will sharpen your biblical theology through discipleship and mentoring opportunities, as well as weekly evangelistic outreaches. We are devoted to both your personal and professional growth.
You will also have a chance to experience outdoor adventure in the Natural State and make incredible new relationships.
RequirementsApplicants must have a minimum educational background of a high school diploma, at least one year of college, and be at least 18 years of age. A college degree is not required.
We believe God has gifted each and every person with a unique set of skills and career interests that can be used in a variety of roles at FamilyLife, such as marketing, sales, content, publishing, event planning and production, business, finance, IT, web design and development, radio broadcast, graphic design, donor development, human resources, etc.
Therefore, if it is your desire to see how God can use you at FamilyLife, we have many roles here at our headquarters and will work with each student in helping them find which area they best fit and can make a lasting impact in God's kingdom while also receiving great experience.
Even if you have an undecided major or a major that's in a field you feel as though can't be used here, hold up for a second. That doesn't mean it wouldn't be just as life-changing and as impacting of a growth experience using your summer vacation in a fun way through our 8-week summer internship or taking a gap year with our one-year internship.
Your time here will not only be filled amazing experiences and growth in the work-place, but you will also experience life-changing discipleship in the time and growth your leaders pour into you and the relationships and friendships you form.
