DescriptionAre you an experienced grant writer or fundraiser? Can you write dynamic copy that will bring attention to a cause you believe in? Are you passionate about the world and want to make a difference? Global Paint for Charity is looking for a person with a background in Grant Writing for nonprofits or sports and entertainment to help us to sustain and expand our paint recycling and donation programs, and other programs such as recruiting volunteers for our frequent painting projects for low-income families and homeless centers.
The Global Paint for Charity, Inc. (AKA “GPC” or “Global Paint”), a non-profit agency that has existed in Atlanta since 2010 and whose mission it is to help those in financial need with family homes, schools, churches, hospitals and orphanages beautifications and improvements through the donation and recycling of leftover paint. As part of that mission Global Paint for Charity works together with commercial businesses, residential households and other non-profit organizations in an effort to recycle, repackage, and distribute the paint to underserved populations throughout the world, and provides not only the paint but other financial and non-financial aid to targeted communities in 18 developing countries in the Caribbean, Central America, the Middle East and Africa. In order to accomplish this goal Global Paint raises money and obtains paint, building material and supplies donations.
ResponsibilitiesThis is not a traditional job. It is an opportunity to assist our organization and volunteer for a humble cause for less than a one-year term. Global Paint for Charity now collects unused paint from residences and businesses, recycles it and provides it to paint schools, hospitals, orphanages, churches, libraries, and family homes worldwide. This generous cause also protects the environment from the improper disposal of paint. As the success of the organization grows, this individual will lead additional team members to ensure all marketing tasks and fundraising activities continue to be completed to high standards with maximum efficiency.
