DescriptionThe American Italian Cultural Center (AICC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring and celebrating the American Italian Culture of Louisiana. AICC is currently looking for an intern whose duties will include giving museum tours, assistance in event planning and general administrative responsibilities.
Ideal candidates for this internship are outgoing, enthusiastic, creative, and hardworking, possess strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to provide great customer service. Interest in cultural studies, museum management and/or nonprofit organizations as well as knowledge of Italian culture is a plus.
This is an incredible chance to be a part of a growing cultural non-profit organization as well as an excellent springboard to post-graduation opportunities. The internship will involve 15 hours of work per week for class credit.
The American Italian Cultural Center’s (AICC) mission is to honor and celebrate the American Italian Culture of Louisiana, past, present and future. AICC promotes the culture and heritage of the American Italian community by offering Italian language and culture classes, seminars, concerts, and events. The center is the leading institution preserving and celebrating the American Italian history of Louisiana.
