Description

Program Details:
Jane Franklin Dance’s internship program is designed to provide experiential skills and learning opportunities to college and graduate students with an interest in the performing arts and/or arts administration.

The Jane Franklin Dance internship program is made up of two components: 50% board support; 50% office support and projects. Each JFD intern will complete a project, the subject of which will be determined with intern supervisor. Interns will have access to high-level staff on an ongoing basis for consultation and support on the project.

Throughout the internship, interns will provide departmental office support in many areas including membership, marketing, fundraising/grants or programming. Internships last approximately one semester and are offered in Fall, Spring and Summer. Interns will work roughly 10-20 hours a week and tasks will be tailored to the interests of the intern and organizational capacity of Jane Franklin Dance during that time. Interns can elect to continue their internship at the end of the semester.
