DescriptionSelah Downtown Association (SDA) is looking for current college students, or recent graduates, with experience in print journalism located in or near Selah, Washington. The intern must be a strong writer with good computer skills. Experience developing print bulletins and/or newspapers, and online media/blogging is a plus. This is a volunteer, unpaid internship, and the intern will typically work remotely within the greater Yakima region.
Selah Downtown Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and a member of the Washington State Main Street Program. Like other recognized Main Street communities, SDA promotes economic development and revitalization in Selah's downtown business district. Specifically, SDA's mission is to develop and promote downtown Selah as the community's social, cultural and economic center.
