DescriptionLa Giraudiere offers an internships in France as an assistant to the project director. This is a unique opportunity to boost your CV/resume and gain valuable work experience that will give your career prospects that extra edge needed. The Internship offered by La Giraudiere includes an intensive French language course, real meaningful work experience, the opportunity to be part of an international project, immersion into rural French village life and the chance to make contacts that will last long after your internship.
The successful applicant(s) would each during their internships be working alongside Paul the present project director and La Giraudiere's visionaries. For the last five years Paul as put together one of the most successful projects in France, if not Europe, which attracts volunteers from around the globe, as accommodated school trips from UK and USA, offers English Language programs for French speakers and now Internships so as to share the skills and the knowledge he as acquired.
Each internships last from 4 - 12 weeks longer may be available. ResponsibilitiesThe internship will centre around the day to day running of the volunteers project and will also touch some aspects of the other programs. Apart from learning about the administration side and management of the project your competence in speaking French and knowledge of the language will be assessed and improved. Each week interns benefit from a half a day French lesson in a group and two half a days each week on a one to one basis with our French teachers.
