FBAMC is an outreach ministry of the Catholic Diocese of Lexington, KY. Our ecumenical service to the poor is done in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Our services include our Outreach Program offering transitional housing for the working poor, home repairs to those in need, providing goods and resources to individuals and organizations , a Summer Feeding Program for children, a community resource thrift store, youth programs, Christmas distribution, and much more. Our Volunteer Program hosts mission trips for over 500 volunteers each year, youth and adult, from throughout the country, offers a 10 week Summer Internship Program and a 1 year Long Term Volunteer Program. Our warehouse collects and distributes donations throughout the 40 Appalachian counties as well as parts of Ohio and West Virginia.

Long Term Volunteering (LTV) at the Father Beiting Appalachian Mission Center (FBAMC) is a walk with God in service to the poor in the eastern Kentucky region of Appalachia. It includes daily mass, bi-weekly spiritual growth, and adoration, Our needs vary according to the current needs of our programs.
