The Friends of Fort Point Channel is seeking an enthusiastic and organized individual to assist with communications, marketing, and social media. You will work in a dynamic and intimate environment that balances independent office-based projects with networking, promotional, civic, and other social events.
Our ideal intern is hard-working, creative, and able to come up with innovative ideas and methods to showcase the Fort Point neighborhood to the world.

The Friends of Fort Point Channel is a nonprofit organization committed to making Fort Point a great place to work, live, and play. The neighborhood itself is home to the Boston Children's Museum, Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum, a thriving arts community, renowned restaurants and a sizable workforce and residential community.

Students/graduates who already hold F-1 Optional Practical Training (OPT) visas are welcome to apply.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled. We are currently looking for fall interns, but are open to interns that want to start sooner to learn from our current interns! We have observed in the past that interns are at their most productive when they are in office for approximately 20 hours per week. Please take that under consideration when applying.

We also write excellent letters of recommendation for our awesome interns!
