DescriptionCultural Alliance of Fairfield County is looking for an intern that can support on-going needs of our marketing and promotion efforts on behalf of our membership and overall organization. Create and monitor social media postings on behalf of our membership. Communicate with appropriate members that they have been featured
Communicate with membership several times per week to notify them of marketing opportunities available and notification of when they have been “featured” in a promotion by us.
Manage EBlast service provider lists and groups, including differentiated member lists, workshop lists, press list etc.
Assist in content management of FCBuzz website, including images, editing, and contacting members for content information for event posts
Represent organization at events if and when required
Assist in content management of www.FCBuzz.org
Assist in database input
Position is ideal for a student interested in Communication, Public Relations, Digital Marketing, Social Media, and Arts Administration. A great opportunity to build portfolio of real life work examples in support of a regional nonprofit organization.
RequirementsCandidates should demonstrate
Excellent organization skills
Ability to meet deadlines
Experience with social media platforms
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs
Minimum time commitment of 10 hours per week
Interest in arts & culture is valuable
