DescriptionDocumenting Hope is a multi-level project which includes a book, non-profit organization and documentary film. The internship will include marketing the book which is geared healing and recovery the overwhelming number of chronically ill children in this country. All aspects of this project need to be marketed. The book needs to be reviewed by blogs and magazines as well as gain exposure on major media outlets. Once the media exposure grows the funding for the completion of the documentary will then need to take place.
ResponsibilitiesCalling magazines, TV shows, newspapers on both a local and national level to gain media exposure for the project. Finding new leads in the health industry as well as finding ways to market this message to the mainstream media. Accompanying the author to events and book signings when possible.
RequirementsSocial Media savvy is a must! Experience with social media, publicity and marketing would be the best fit for this project. Social skills when speaking to potential partners must be both confident and professional.
