DescriptionMothers Vision Program is a project of Urban Lady Foundation a 501c3 Organization who's mission is to partner with Womens Centers, Homeless Shelters, Community Youth Programs, in an effort to provide temporary housing, skilled trades, life skills, referrals and such to Victims of Domestic Violence, Re-entering Minor Felons, Single Mothers, Delinquent/At Risk youth, in and from impoverished communities. Mothers Vision is currently in need of 3 interns with hopes of a future in public service. These interns will be trained to work directly with the Executive Director and Administrative Asst. to facilitate a 4 month fundraising campaign. They will also assist in planning and facilitating fundraising events, communication, web design, research, management, clerical and administrative work. The interns that are chosen will have the opportunity to learn the ins and out of Mothers Vision Program and graduate this program with the ability to become Executive Director or Administration positions in the Non Profit arena.. They will also be front runners for long term employment placement.
Human Service, Public Relations, Management, Communication and Marketing
Scheduling and Coordinating speaking engagements, presentations, public appearances and special events.
Creating and updating Data Bases
Compiling Contact Lists
Monitoring Social Media Sites
Taking and returning phone calls
Coordinating Donations, Food and Clothes Drives.
