DescriptionCATALYST is a monthly newsprint magazine that has served as Salt Lake City's resource for creative living since 1982. CATALYST focuses on arts, culture, health, sustainability, and the environment. The CATALYST reader is described as the "Cultural Creative," and is not defined by age, race, or class, but rather by people whose values embrace a curiosity and concern for the world, its ecosystem, and its people; an awareness of and activism for peace and social justice (as coined by Paul H. Ray, Ph.D.).
We are transitioning to 501(c)3 non-profit status, and looking for people with experience in non-profits, applying for grants, etc.
We are looking for bright, competent applicants who can work creatively with our team. If you are looking to gain experience in a small, locally-run business, and you have interest in the Non-profit side of an arts, culture, and environment-focused publication, CATALYST is an opportunity to do so.
Ideally we are looking for intern candidates in or recently out of an undergraduate or graduate program. We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing free, educational, enriching, and engaging content to the community.
