DescriptionThe American Lung Association of the Northeast is now accepting applications for unpaid fall, winter, spring, and summer Sporting and Special Events Internships in its Providence, RI office.
Interns will assist in recruitment and marketing of the Fight for Air Climb: Providence, Autumn Escape Bike Trek and Rhode Island LUNG FORCE Walk events. We are looking for an outgoing individual who is able to handle multiple tasks and projects. Internship will have a flexible schedule so as not to conflict with school schedules. Candidates should be available to work a minimum of 10-20 hours per week and attend the Climb, Trek or Walk depending on the time frame of the internship.
Why intern with the American Lung Association?
After an initial screening process, we will tailor an internship to meet your specific needs and availability. This real-life, hands on job experience will boost your resume, increase your self-confidence, enhance the skills that you have learned in college, and help prepare you for your first job. Working for a non-profit also adds a dimension that most jobs do not, the benefit of helping others. Set yourself apart from other graduates with an internship that will give you the real world experience that most employers are seeking.
