Nonviolence International is now recruiting interns and volunteers for the fall semester. We are particularly interested in both undergraduates and graduate students with strong language skills in Farsi.
Students are welcome to arrange course credit for their time with Nonviolence International. Volunteer and internship positions can be part-time during the school year and work can be adapted to course schedules. The NI office operates Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm. We request a minimum of 15 hours per week.
Nonviolence International is a resource center for nonviolent movements around the world. We have affiliates and programs in many countries including
Burma, Cambodia and Thailand
and Latin America
Volunteer and internship assignments for this position deal with education, media and journalism, publications, grassroots organizing, non-profit management and fundraising for Farsi speaking countries. Internship tasks will include translation of materials and upkeep of the website in Farsi.
