DescriptionSince 2005 Food & Water Watch has advocated for common sense policies that will result in healthy, safe food and access to safe and affordable drinking water. We have utilized original research and grassroots organizing to effectively change both corporate and governmental policies to better protect the public. To help bolster public participation in the legislative process we are looking to add to our team of campaign organizers in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
ResponsibilitiesWe are currently hiring entry-level campaign staff to organize locally. We educate the public about consumer protection issues and engage support through recruiting volunteers and fundraising. Ideal candidates possess strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to environmental justice and political advocacy. Full time: Monday through Friday, 2:00pm to 10:00pm
Part time: Three or four days per week, 2:00pm to 10:00pm (you can pick the days)
Full time: $500/week
