DescriptionA Madison Ballet internship offers students a unique opportunity to develop nonprofit administration skills while working in a professional performing arts organization. It also helps students to become familiar with the organizational skills and routines needed to effectively support an organization like Madison Ballet.
The Production/School of Madison Ballet Intern will assist in all manner of production and event needs, at the direction of our Program Services Coordinator. Productions can occur at the Overture Center, Bartell Theatre, and various venues across the state. Additionally, work with the School of Madison Ballet will be required. The School of Madison Ballet opened its doors in the fall of 2005 and has since welcomed over 1000 dancers into its studios to experience the benefits of comprehensive programs for children, families, and dancers. The intern will gain experience in organization and maintenance of a studio, and planning for school-centered events and future needs.
