Description

Make-A-Wish Michigan grants wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. We are looking for fall interns for our program services team in our Brighton, Michigan office. The time commitment is a minimum of 16-20 hours per week. Interns will assist our wish coordinators with the wish granting process and tasks may include contact families, working with volunteers and medical staff as needed, data entry, mailing documentation and many other wish-related projects.

Responsibilities

The Program Services Intern will assist the wish team as they work to coordinate wishes. Projects will include data analysis, data entry, document preparation, coordinating reservations, file organization, preparing thank you notes, and other projects as needed.

Requirements

The position requires enthusiasm and good communication skills. The fast-paced, constantly changing environment of the position also requires adaptability and multi-tasking with a solid knowledge base of word, excel and PowerPoint. Eligible students will be interning for school/class credit. Please Submit a Resume and Cover Letter.
