River View Christian Academy (RVCA), a program of Teen Rescue, Inc., is located in Northern California. RVCA is a fully-accredited, Christian residential boarding school for teens who are high-risk victims. There is a program for boys and a program for girls.

RVCA is considered one of the leading Christian boarding school and behavior intervention programs in the country and helps teens and their families from all over the United States.

Interns will gain an understanding of how the organization operates caring for students on a day-to-day basis. They will work alongside full-time staff learning how to work with high-risk teens and victims. Interns will also learn how to serve and be a part of a community of people passionate about seeing teen lives restored.

Interns receive a $200 monthly stipend. Room and board is provided. Internships can be customized to meet university requirements.


Interns will be joining staff as they do life with the students by eating with them, participating in PE, tutoring, and taking part in other student activities. We want them to provide the love and support the students need while maintaining the discipline and accountability required.

Interns may assist staff in the following areas of supervision and support: interpersonal communication, education, daily chores, spiritual growth, life-skills development and family relationships.

Please note: The address listed in Lake Elsinore is the Corporate Office. This internship is located at RVCA's campus in Northern California.


RVCA is looking for spiritually mature Christians with their faith founded on Biblical principles. Must have a heart for ministering to high-risk victims. Great communication skills, ability to work as part of a team, and being teachable are vital as well.

Internships have a 3 month minimum time commitment and are not to exceed one year.
