DescriptionCompassion Without Borders (CWB) is a nonprofit organization that helps the people of the Himalayan country of Nepal. While CWB focuses primarily on the children of Nepal, we help all those in need of our love and compassion.
On April 25, 2015 the Himalayan country of Nepal was struck by a 7.8 earthquake. More than 10,000 Nepali's died. Over 100,000 homes were destroyed resulting in several hundred thousand left homeless, including children. CWB is currently focusing on disaster relief following the quakes. Winter approaches and people are still living in tents. We need to act quickly to help the lives of these wonderful people.
We are looking for someone to manage our social media database to help gain more publicity to shed light on our mission. This person will be solely responsible for managing all the marketing for CWB. The Social Media manager is a highly motivated individual with experience and a passion for designing and implementing the organization's content strategy, creating relevant content, blogging, community participation and leadership. This is a part-time position, and virtual. It is not required to come to our offices.

Responsibilities-The Social Media Manager is heavily involved in keeping all of our social media handles up to date by posting about the current whereabouts of our organization.
-This person is also responsible for all the marketing strategies being implemented
-Must strategize to increase follower count on all social media handles
-This person is solely responsible for creating relative content
-Must create a new blog post monthly
-Must strategize to reach people and companies to increase publicity
-This person must be quick on their feet, and help to the best of their abilities
RequirementsMust be knowledgable with social media applications (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest etc.)
Must be passionate about helping others
Must be willing to work 10-20 hours per week
Must have a laptop and be able to video chat
Must be able to research
Must be able to work independently
