DescriptionWe're a well-known non-profit recipe and nutrition website for people with cancer, www.cookforyourlife.org. We're located in the Financial District in New York City. We are seeking an intern for the fall semester to help us with shooting and editing videos for our website. We create healthy recipes specifically tailored to the needs of cancer patients and survivors and for the people that care for them. We also need help loading the videos onto our Worpress site and YouTube channel and then optimizing them for SEO. We are a very relaxed office, but we work hard. If you're looking to get experience with digital marketing, this is a great internship for you. You must be passionate about food and health -- food is basically all we talk about here. We offer a monthly unlimited metro card for the time you are here, and the office always has coffee and tea.
ResponsibilitiesTasks will include but will not be limited to shooting, editing and uploading recipe videos to Wordpress CMS and YouTube, search engine optimization, helping us with web marketing initiatives. Must also be willing to do small operational tasks around the office.
RequirementsMust have an interest in health and food, be detail oriented, highly organized, and a people person. Experience with FinalCutPro, iMovie, Microsoft Office, Google apps, YouTube, Wordpress preferred. Must be a self starter and willing to do the different tasks associated with producing videos. Must know all social networks in and out. Must be willing to do simple tasks such as running the occasional errand.
