DescriptionBrighter Within, Inc. is a volunteer-driven, 501(C) 3 nonprofit organization. Brighter Within, Inc. provides community education about young adult dating violence, and Youth Leadership & Mentoring Program for boys and girls ages 8-17. Our purpose is to educate the community on young adult dating violence, and to empower young adults to be their best by assisting those in becoming productive and confident young adults that will allow them to become positive role models and future leaders.
ResponsibilitiesSolicit and secure sponsorship for events to meet budgetary goals
Manages relationships with business, corporate and community leaders to increase visibility and involvement with Impact BW
Identifies and recruits corporate sponsorship for events and programs;
Research and incorporate, ideas, trends and issues related to philanthropy
RequirementsBachelor’s degree in public administration, journalism, communications, or related field or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail, ability to handle interruptions, maintain focus on tasks and produce accurate work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Provides monthly reports to Director detailing activities, solicitations and status of solicitations.
Possess proficient computer skills.
Project management experience.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
