Keep Prince William Beautiful is a non-profit environmental organization that serves Prince William County through partnering with residents, businesses and government to educate and inspire people to be environmental stewards and Keep Prince William Beautiful.

Engaging, exciting, and inspiring volunteers is essential to caring for our environment. Create new ways to draw and keep volunteers. Look for different approaches to engage people in environmental concerns and get them to take action. Definitely a “people person” job.

Internships are a minimum of 3 months. School credit is available. Individuals that do not need credit but are interested in the experience are also welcome to apply. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age by start of internship and have reliable transportation to and from work. Applicant must be able to work weekends for events, projects, or programs. Responsibilities

• Assisting with volunteer program to foster and maintain volunteer participation at a level to support program and activities.
• Presenting to local community organizations in order to obtain new volunteers.
• Inputting, updating and maintaining volunteer database.
• Monitoring, updating and maintaining all volunteer recruitment sites.
• Coordinating volunteer trainers as required for program management.
• Confirming volunteers prior to each event and following up with volunteers after events for feedback.
