Description

This individual will primarily assist with designing and preparing marketing and event collateral for print and web. The ideal candidate is creative, flexible, passionate, innovative, collaborative and looking for real world experiences. The hours per week are flexible depending upon the selected candidate’s availability.

Responsibilities

Design and prepare marketing materials, publications, promotional items and more while utilizing company brand standards to maintain identities for distinct subsidiaries
Make changes and updates to existing creative materials as requested
Design emails for internal, external and event communications
Create and update multiple websites to promote The Retirement Group brand.
Help in the planning and execution of special events
Assist with other projects in support of the Marketing Department

Requirements

Pursuing or recently completed a degree/program in visual communication, graphic or web design or related field
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with a demonstrated ability to accomplish multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Ability to write and edit content a plus
Strong portfolio of both print and web projects demonstrating excellent typography, layout and creativity
Familiarity with industry-standard software, including Microsoft Office and Google based platforms.
Experience with HTML and CSS coding
Experience with web content management systems a plus
Strong organization and attention to detail
Enthusiasm to learn and use new skills
Ability to work independently and as a team
