DescriptionCity Vision Internships is a Christian one-year, multi-year or summer internship program based on the AmeriCorps model. Interns serve at one of over 40 positions across the USA and Canada. In the past 10 years, we have placed over 500 full-time interns and 68,000+ volunteers in hundreds of Christian ministries.
For Interns without a Bachelors Degree: One Year (or summer) Work Study Internship
Provides a work study internship with free tuition in City Vision College for a full year paid by
Online courses providing accredited degrees in Nonprofit Management, Addiction Studies,
and Urban Missions.

of independent study credit based on practicum work at ministry site.
Supervised nonprofit or ministry experience interning 29 hours per week.
ResponsibilitiesThe Objective of the Worship Internship is to assist the Co-Pastor in preparing music for the various Church Services that are given throughout the week. The Worship and Youth Intern will also assist in helping out the Youth Director with the Youth program. Intern must have commitment to moral purity, clear testimony of faith and have a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Must sense a calling to serve in this ministry role.
1) Perform Music during the worship service and special programs
2) Work with others during Rehearsal
3) Help out Youth Director with children in Youth Program as needed
4) Attend a weekday prayer meeting with the Co-Pastor
5) Assist in bible lessons
6) Help develop a Choir
7) Develop relationships with lost people
There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position
The work environment is an old school building
Must be able to lift and move musical instruments without assistance
Expected Hours of Work
Worship Intern Hours will be discussed between them and Worship Pastor as needed. They will need to prepare for Church Services Wednesday and Saturday Night in addition to Sunday Morning.
There are no travel requirements for this position

2) Good Communicator
3) Must have a ability to lead in piano or guitar
4) Sense a calling to serve in this ministry role

2) Should be able to read and understand music and chord charts

Requirements-At least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
-Must be a Christian
-U.S. or Canadian citizen, U.S. or Canadian national or lawful permanent resident alien, or have a valid
student or work visa
-Able to make at least a summer (May 20-August 9) commitment (may be extended by mutual agreement)
-Able to financially live on just free housing and any outside income sources you have.
-Able to relocate to a location of a ministry site (unless a site exists at your current location)
