Combine your love of social media with your passion for nutrition! Stuffed Pepper is an online magazine for gluten-free and paleo living, and we are pleased to be able to offer a nutrition and social media internship.

This is a part-time, unpaid position at 20 hours per week for a period of 3 months. However, there is a chance to earn commission. Working hours are completely flexible and you may be able to get school credit for it. You will gain valuable experience in nutrition and social media, as well as for working for a web-based, start-up company.

Job Location

We prefer someone in Connecticut so that we can meet face to face. However, we will consider applicants from other locations, if you are qualified enough, and we can meet over Skype or Google+ Chat.


*Create meal plans (with guidance from the Director) that fit dietary requirements, such as “Paleo,” “lowFODMAPs”, “Autoimmune Protocol”, “SCD” and more.
*Social media outreach on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest and other social media platforms
*Send biweekly (ish) newsletter.
*Increase traffic to Stuffed Pepper website and selling meal plans, books, etc.
*Correspond with contributors and editing copy, where needed.
*Opportunity to write and article or two about food and/or nutrition.
*Other duties related to health and nutrition of a restricted diets.


*Must have some familiarity with gluten-free and paleo diets. Familiarity with low FODMAPS, AIP and SCD a plus.
*Must be a “foodie”, that is, you enjoy good food and you know what constitutes as delicious, as opposed to just nutritious.
*Some experience working in social media, and/or in an editorial position.
*Familiar with MailChimp and/or other newsletter templates.
*As a representative of Stuffed Pepper, you must have a demonstrated ability to carry on social media conversations in a professional manner. You must also be friendly, sociable, and genuine.
*College senior or recent graduate.
*Demonstrated ability to work independently.
*Demonstrated ability to meet deadline.


We prefer someone who has experience with maintaining a grain-free diet. Writing experience preferred.
