Description

Are you very familiar with multiple social media platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and Pinterest? Are you apt at Google Analytics? If so, this may be the internship for you! We need an intern to manage its social media outlets.
We’re looking for a social media loving intern to build daily engagement on our platforms. In this role, the intern will promote content, increase followers, and attract the attention of influencers. This person should be able to write snappy posts, build audiences, engage with followers, and have fun helping increase our online presence.
You'll have the opportunity to work and thrive in a multi-tasked, startup company.
This is a part-time non-paid position (requires at least 20 hours per week).
Please submit a writing sample and/or sample social media posts.

Responsibilities

 Build social media strategies for sites such as Facebook and Twitter to gain exposure for our events and
promote blog content
 Manage social media outlets as assigned
 Increase audience
 Create polls and images for social media outlets
 Be a current undergraduate junior or senior student pursuing a marketing, communications, or related
degree.

Requirements

 Be a self-starter who is passionate about social media
 Be able to speak, write, and read English well
 Have experience writing online (blogging, Tumblr, etc.)
 Be detail-oriented, and have the energy and enthusiasm to create results
 Have excellent writing/verbal communication skills
 Be able to multitask and meet deadlines
