Description

The position requires intern to have strong knowledge or experience to build portfolio. Intern will have the option to travel with company out of the country for documentary.
Independent Record Label looking for intern videographer to work cohesively with marketing departments within the organization for artist documentary, music videos, web-pisodes and TV commercials for advertising. Interns will be allowed to make technical decisions regarding such elements as appropriate lighting, shooting angle and placement and type of microphone; and receive explicit instructions regarding assignment. Videographer expected to edit and assemble final visual/audio program material; ensures consistency and relevancy to production; monitors technical quality of end product. Interns that interested in Videographer and producer/director will have the opportunity to implement personal preconceived ideas and physical realities of production settings. Intern will assist filming music video and television commercials that will be aired within the East Coast region.

Responsibilities

Intern is required to ensure a cohesive message and look across all projects and material. Producer/Videographer intern will participate in company Decision Making Process along with implementation. The Intern videographer is responsible for supporting the visual integrity of the product as perceived by the market, and for strengthening brand presence within that market.

Intern will work with other departments to get hands on experience in management decision making, planning and control through the five step Decision Making Process pertaining to their department:

1. Indentify the problem and uncertainties
2. Obtain information through Market Research
3. Make predictions about the future
4. Make decisions by choosing among alternatives
5. Implement the decision, evaluate performance

Internships are unpaid and available to persons who are looking for experience and/or school credit.Required Hours: 300 hour internship with minimum 15 hours per week. Regular communication is A MUST. Intern willassist in the creation of music videos, TV commercials, documentary and web-pisodes. Interns will work with other departments and assist in the innovative marketing/advertising of the artists.

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications
• Experience in both video production or editing
• Personal access to 7D and 5D cannon camera encouraged but not required. Professional level cameras and equipmentwill be provided for filming and etc.
• Must have experience with software like Apple Final Cut Pro and creative programs like Adobe's Creative Suite other editing software
