DescriptionpropNspoon is the exciting merged company of Props For Today and The Spoon Group. We are the leading furniture and prop rental and fabrication company on the East Coast serving clients in the film, theater, television, events, retail, photography and visual merchandising industries for over three decades. Clients range from Saturday Night Live to the Allure Pop Up store during Fashion Week to celebrity weddings and events.
We are seeking an upbeat, creative Photography Intern to help us photograph and catalog merchandise and shoot home furnishings vignettes. This is a great opportunity for an intermediate level student photographer -- or even a more advanced photographer who wants to improve their commercial photography – who is interested in building a portfolio, getting hands-on experience using our props and learning about creative visual display design.
We will work with schools to enable interns to receive academic credit. We enjoy teaching and learning from students.
This internship is also open to non-students.
Superb opportunity to learn product/commercial photography.
Stipend at completion of internship.
While we offer internships year round, we are now looking for an intern to start working with us ASAP.
Location: Long Island City (not Long Island) -- we are just 10 minutes from midtown on the 7 subway line.
Please submit your resume -- and online portfolio and website if available -- with "Photo Intern and Your Name" in the subject line to email@example.com. Please no phone calls.
We look forward to hearing from you and working with you!
