The Green Economy, now, is a publication helping businesses respond to the risks and opportunities in adapting to and mitigating climate change. We cover finance, policy and technology. Our Photography interns help us to develop and implement outreach strategies, and work on our newsletter.

Duties: Generate eye-catching photographs capturing the environment all around that we often don't waste, decay, success, joy, defeat, etc. We want to capture in photos the green economy & the new economy. We are looking for photographs that speak to sustainability and climate change issues for TGEink. Research to find relevant issues and topics for depiction. Work with senior management to continually refine and develop outreach strategies and materials. Develop strategies for existing sites and/or new approaches to expand readership through various sources including social media: Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, etc.


Must be able to work 10 hours a week, some of which must be at our Princeton office. Will be responsible for working with senior marketing/business development and editorial staff to develop and implement strategic objectives.


Requirements: Good photography experience, plus excellent communication skills, persistence and a desire to learn. Will learn: Develop important graphic and communications skills useful the public and private sectors. Ability to stay focused on a task, keep senior management informed of progress and be able to help in identifying roadblocks. Wit, humor is a big plus.
