DescriptionThe Alcove Recording Studios is looking for interns to join our team! The vast majority of our work comes from record labels and publishing companies. Because our clientele consists mostly of high-scale recording artists, we are looking for respectful, well-mannered, diligent, hard-working people to work with us. The studio is run by multi platinum producers and engineers and will provide a great environment for interns to learn!
We are looking for a Photography intern who is passionate about taking pictures and interested in the music industry. Our unique internship opportunity offers the chance to work in a boutique recording studio and to refine your skills in an exciting environment!
The internship will consist of covering sessions, photographing artists, and editing photos. Interns will be invited into sessions with Alcove Recording artists to photograph them working and making music in the studio. This is a two-way street, and we want you to gain as much from us as we can gain from you.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities Will Include:
Film video and shoot photographs in studio and field environments
Photograph artists in a studio setting
Touch-up still photography
Generate images that will be used on our website and social media channels

RequirementsThe requirements for candidates are:
Flexible Schedule, as artists often book with little notice.
Must beavailableto work nights (with little notice).
Have all camera and computer materials needed.
Have the potential to deliver videos and photos that clearly document an artist's session.
Knowledge of digital videography and photography cameras and equipment.
Your own car and license
Experience with Microsoft Word and Office
Experience with Photoshop
Interest in the music industry
