Looking to get a head-start in the yoga & fitness industry? The Down Dog Yoga Blog Magazine is an international yoga magazine & retreat organization, with our headquarters located right here in Palm Desert, California.

We offer fitness&wellness lovers some of the best retreats, yoga accessories & yoga wear in the industry, hosting international yoga get-aways, special events, trade shows, and charity functions throughout Southern California and on the Hawaiian Islands.

This position is a fabulous opportunity for the right student candidate looking to make their career in the fast growing yoga industry - with some of the most seasoned yoga professionals in the business.

The right candidate should love and study yoga (preferred but not required), and is seeking either a future career as a yoga instructor, studio owner, retreat coordinator, or yoga publications industry professional, or anything career related to yoga!

You will learn the ins and outs of the yoga and retreats industry, including coordinating & planning our yoga retreats, maintaining our continuing yoga blog & magazine, managing our e-commerce yoga accessories store, and the daily ins and outs of our company operations.

We are looking for someone who is available a minimum of 24 hours per week. We will offer flexibility with your school schedule.

You must be punctual, dependable, honest, and professional. Sharp computer and communication skills are a must. Graphic Design skills are a plus.

This position is open and ongoing for U.S. residents only.

We are offering this opportunity to fitness majors, as well as computer, graphics & admin majors.


Communications with Clientele, yoga instructors, and vendors
Order processing for e-commerce site
Coordination of retreats in Hawaii and yoga trade shows
Procurement of inventory for sale
Maintain daily email correspondence


Love and appreciation for yoga
Some previous yoga study preferred
Knowledge of excel, social media, Microsoft suite a plus
