Andrew Romanoff for Colorado's 6th District
10730 E. Bethany Dr., Ste. 280
DescriptionAndrew Romanoff for Congress is offering part-time and full-time internships for the Spring and Summer of 2014 with the opportunity to learn and aid in the implementation of a sophisticated field plan for one of 2014’s most significant congressional elections nationwide.
Interns will work directly with the field team to aid in volunteer recruitment and voter outreach. Based on performance, some interns may be asked to take a leadership role in running canvasses around the 6th District.
This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in working in politics, particularly those looking to gain a foothold in Colorado’s political scene. Our campaign will also be working with local universities to see that interns are awarded school credit, when interested. Successful completion of the internship will provide you with great connections and a strong letter of recommendation, which will prove invaluable to your future careers.
Requirements-Current enrollment in an undergraduate, graduate or associate degree program.
-Social skills, leadership, and the ability to work with a team are all vital. Interns will be working in a very social setting, constantly networking with volunteers and constituents.
-Past campaign work a plus.
-Interns must be willing to commit at least 10 hrs/week over a minimum of 8 weeks.
