DescriptionOverview: Our internship program for the preprimary portion of our campaign will solely focus
on our fundraising efforts. The intent of this program is to develop and implement our
fundraising plan, but also to create an environment that allows our interns to grow and develop in
ways that would not be available in a traditional internship program. These individuals will be
key members of our finance team throughout the coming months and we hope they will continue
to play a role in our future campaign efforts.
Location: Portland, OR (Office Space TBD)
Duration: 12 weeks minimum. Start and end dates will depend on individual circumstance.
Responsibilities-Facilitate extensive donor research for our Major/Minor fundraising programs.
-Work with accounts payable to track and handle incoming and outgoing campaign funds.
-Prepare mailings and other communications for prospective donor outreach.
-Assist with budget creation and analysis
-Create and manage numerous fundraising events.
-Complete a variety of research projects crucial to the campaigns success.
-Staff Representative Hoyle at meetings/events as needed.
-Prepare Excel and PowerPoint reports and presentations.
-Assist in drafting and reviewing campaign procedures.
-Other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Requirements-Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree
-Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
-Possess strong computer skills
-Ability to work part time (10-15 hrs.) for at least 12 weeks.
