Description

Senate Majority Communications assists senators from all around the state with writing, research, event planning, or helping with constituent services. Interns will gain a wide range of experiences working with key state policy makers in communications, data research, and legislative planning.

Specifically, the constituent services intern will be focused on providing different senator's with assistance for any constituent project or affair. Working on a variety of projects each day/week, while also working one-on-one with many different state senator's and their staff will provide a vast array of experience and skill sets from interpersonal communication, multitasking, problem solving and time management.

Extra efforts will be made to assist each intern with gaining experience in their course of study and/or career path.

Responsibilities

- Constituent outreach projects
- Assist senate offices
- Miscellaneous tasks

Requirements

This person must be a good communicator with flexibility to work on many different types of projects. Basic computer skills are needed.
