Description

Interns will work along side our Founder and Chairman of the Board, Frank Carroll, onsite in downtown Worcester, MA within his private US Presidential Museum.

Responsibilities

•Updating documents/objects in museum record database with designated search keywords (i.e. President, Vice President, etc.) for purpose of categorizing museum database in various ways.
•Put together 3-ring binders for specified museum categories including print outs of materials for each item such as copy of letter or document, photograph of document or object, copy of brass plate text, copy of “cheat sheet” label information. Time will be spent examining original documents and learning how historical documents are preserved.
•Intern will become familiar with museum holdings and methods of record-keeping for a museum collection.
•Research and/or writing projects may also be assigned.

Requirements

Computer skills
Interest in History
Experience with documentation
Ability to work with senior leadership
College course work in History, Political Science and Marketing
