Description

Clean Water Action is a non-profit organization with nearly 300,000 members in Michigan working to empower people to take action to protect America's waters, build healthy communities and to make democracy work for all of us. For over 40 years Clean Water Action has succeeded in winning some of the nation's most important environmental protections through grassroots organizing, expert policy research and political advocacy focused on holding elected officials accountable to the public.

Responsibilities

As part of our staff, you would organize communities around environmental issues. Responsibilities include one-on-one communication, fundraising, dispersing information, and good record keeping.

The hours for the work are from 1:30pm to 10:30pm, Monday through Friday, or at least 3 days a week between Monday and Friday. Pay for full time is $400-515 per week. We are hiring for full or part-time positions starting immediately or in the summer. We provide benefits, travel opportunities, and the potential for growth within the organization. Shorter hours available for students: 3:00pm to 10:00pm
