Always be on the alert for potentially fraudulent job postings online - never send money to a potential employer.
DescriptionThe nonpartisan league of women voters of Los Angeles works to educate the public about the political process, elections, and issues through a nonpartisan approach. Interns of all backgrounds and ages are invited to join us in one of our many programs, including youth engagement, election information, policy development, political forums, etc. All internships are UNPAID.
ResponsibilitiesTasks range from administrative work to voter registration to public presentations. Interns are given many choices and each internship is custom designed to suit the individual's interests, skills, and time availability.
Applicants should provide a timeframe (i.e. February- April) for their internship and then we will contact you to arrange an interview.
RequirementsThe only requirements are a desire to participate in the political process with a nonpartisan approach. You do not have to be a student to apply. We welcome mid-career professionals, retirees, and anyone interested in our mission.
Our office is in the mid-Wilshire/Koreatown area of Los Angeles, but many of our projects are accessible from other locations.
