DescriptionDallas-based political fundraising firm looking for part-time interns for the Spring semester. Clients include conservative statewide and national candidates, as well as political parties.
Selected interns will learn a diverse set of skills from event planning, to fundraising, writing, and top tier VIP management. Daily activities include donor interaction, research, and event planning tasks. The ideal candidate would also be comfortable on the phone and open to enhancing their communication skills.
This internship offers college students a fast-paced real-world exposure to campaign politics.
The position provides the opportunity for students to learn campaign fundraising and development skills while participating in some of the most important campaigns of the 2016 election cycle.
Internship is unpaid and hours are flexible. Office is conveniently located off of Mockingbird Lane near SMU. Top candidates will have basic Microsoft Office Suite skills (especially Excel), ability to learn quickly, and a positive attitude. Benefits include recommendations and job placement assistance after graduation. Credit applicable based on program standards.
