DescriptionEnvironment Colorado needs an intern who loves working with people and doing social media work. Environment Colorado is a statewide, citizen-based environmental advocacy organization. Our professional staff combines independent research, practical ideas and tough-minded advocacy to overcome the opposition of powerful special interests and win real results for Colorado's environment. Environment Colorado draws on 30 years of success in tackling our state's top environmental problems.
Interns will report to the Hiring Director for Environment Colorado. You will have the chance to work with Environment Colorado on issue campaigns (including, but not limited to, our transportation campaign, antibiotics campaign, and clean water campaign). The intern has the opportunity to design their summer internship as much as possible around that interest area. At the end of the internship, interns should feel that they accomplished a particular project and learned something valuable.
