Description

We are a political consulting firm that is currently running a campaign in several cities located in San Fernando Valley. We are looking for hard working individuals who are interested in learning more about the political process, and getting involved in the field of politics. This is a great opportunity for those interested in getting their foot in the door in the political field. As a result, those who join us will gain knowledge on everyday campaign operations necessary for future employment within the field.

Responsibilities

Currently offering a 4 day a week campaign internship program where individuals will go out into differing cities throughout L.A county to garner support for our local candidate. The work will entail mainly door-to-door canvassing and advocating on behalf of our candidate to voters within the communities. Interns will be responsible for the following: representing our candidates when talking to voters, encouraging voting and understanding current policies and regulations affecting the area, and developing strong public speaking abilities. Those who complete the internship will qualify for a letter of recommendation from a currently elected official, until the internship ends. Additionally, individuals who complete the program will be potentially viable for paid positions with us on other races for the remainder of the election cycle.

Requirements

To qualify, you must send a resume and statement telling us: What interests you about politics, and why you believe you would be a good fit for our program.
