DescriptionThe Joe Garcia Campaign for Congress is looking for energetic, hardworking students to join the team as congressional campaign fellows.
Successful candidates should be able to meet strict deadlines, achieve set goals, and creatively problem-solve. Candidates should have excellent organizational skills, strong written and oral communication skills and must work well in a team.
Candidates should be able to move at a fast pace and learn quickly; however, no prior experience is required.
This fellowship will serve as an excellent foray into federal politics, and fellows will walk away with a comprehensive understanding of how an effective congressional campaign should be run—this includes an understanding of campaign finance, field operations, and communications strategy.
This fellowship will run until Election Day—August 30th, 2016.
