The 2014 Canon Insights Program is a comprehensive program that runs for 10 weeks during the summer. This is a full-time (9 AM to 5 PM), 35 hrs a week, paid internship. This program is designed to provide capable and motivated students an opportunity to gain hands-on work experience by participating in significant work projects. The internship program is a great learning experience and an opportunity to make some lasting friendships.Responsibilities:
As a Social Media/Internet Marketing intern at Canon U.S.A’s state of the art corporate headquarters located in Melville, NY; you will be exposed to various social media strategies that Canon applies to market our products and brand. You will be involved in projects that help you to learn, develop business skills and provide a meaningful contribution to Canon's businesses and goals.Qualifications:
We prefer students that are entering their Junior or Senior year as of the Summer 2014, however, all are welcome to apply. To succeed in the Insights Program, you must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel and Power point, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. We also require candidates to be enrolled in a related major in the department of interest and have some former work or internship experience.
