Physics - Electrical Engineering Typical Graduate Technical Intern scope might include: - Creating/Optimizing applications - User Experience Design - Core system UI - Visualization and parallel computing - Open Source, Firmware, BIOS, Signal Processing - Multimedia and Video - Enabling for Intel Platforms - Open Source and Cloud Computing - Embedded Mobile Systems - Virtualization and Security - Networking - Graphics SW Development - Other platform support - Compilers, performance tools - Manageability - System Integration - Test Automation - Test Case Design - Object Oriented Programming - Sensors Additional Intel-related specializations include: - Dynamic compilation, runtimes, VMM, OS Internals, optimization algorithms, code generation, threads and memory management, web based development including HTML5. - Kernel debugger, driver development, enterprise virtualization and cloud performance. - Linux, Android, Windows OS, HTML5 development. - Audio, Media, Camera, Touch, video player and camcorder applications, OpenMAX IL, H.264/MPEG2/MPEG4/VC1, HDMI - Solid grounding in computer architecture, IA knowledge a plus.
