Position Description
Boeing's Advanced Design and Prototyping Solutions (ADaPS) organization is seeking Software Engineering Interns to join our team in Huntsville, AL. The successful applicants will become part of the Command and Control (C2) Networks and Management Solutions team. The ADaPS organization supports a diverse portfolio of customers including Department of Defense, NASA, Homeland Security and Boeing Commercial Aircraft. The successful candidate will be responsible for activities including but not limited to requirements support, software design, software development, and software verification in languages such as Java/C++/C#. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing quality products and be capable of working in a multi-tasking environment while supporting multiple projects concurrently. The candidate must be capable of working with geographically disperse teams.

Basic Qualifications For Consideration

Do you have experience with JAVA and C++?

Have you held a participant or lead role on an engineering team project?

Do you have prior work experience in a team environment?

Are you currently enrolled in a college or university and will have completed your sophomore year by May 2013 and have a projected graduation date no earlier than December 2013?

Typical Education/Experience
High school diploma or GED.

This position requires access to NASA facilities and/or the ability to obtain a security clearance; US Citizenship required. This position is for current technical/engineering students who have completed at least their sophomore year by May 2013, in a technical degree program and who will graduate no earlier than December 2013. Applicants should clearly state their academic institution, degree program, anticipated graduation date and area of interest on their resume. Applicants must be available to work a minimum of 10 weeks between May 17 and September 13, 2013
-PREFERRED EDUCATION: Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics or Math are the preferred degree programs.
