Job Description: Intel Technology Development and Manufacturing - Manufacturing Quality Systems group - TD Si Integration
The TD Silicon Integration group designs, creates, ramps, and transfers Quality Systems to be utilized in Intel's semiconductor manufacturing Virtual Factory. In this position you will be providing elements of the systems which will be utilizing in Intel's next generation manufacturing systems utilizing world class algorithms and methodologies.
This position will focus upon development and application of novel data mining, advanced/predictive analytics, cluster analysis, machine learning or other types of data extraction techniques for the purpose of finding relationships within the manufacturing process and making recommendations which would be applied towards implementing solutions.
Project will focus upon a particular segment of data extraction and modeling which will require usage of virtual machine with database along with creation of web-based trends of model results.
Internships last three months.
This is an entry level position for a college graduate student working towards a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
Additional qualifications include:
-Experience in at least one programming language (C++, C#, Linux)
-Experience with scripting languages (Perl, Python, Java, TCL, .Net, Visual Basic, Bash,PHP, JSL, SQL)
-Experience with extremely large data sets in storage, manipulation, and extraction.
-Experience with Microsoft server products- SQL management studio, SQL server, Visual Studio, SQL reporting services and web deployment with cube refresh
-Experience with working in a multidisciplinary environment solving complex problems and overcoming difficult challenges.
-Prior Intel Intern or Scholarship recipient
