Job Type:Full Time Position Summary:
The Analyst, Strategic Analytics transforms data into actionable business intelligence to drive value for the Retail Pharmacy division. The Analyst leverages the power of data to innovate our pharmacy business across our 7,400+ retail pharmacies. The Analyst, Strategic Analytics is a leading contributor in the development and production of complex analytics and reporting suites that will guide how senior leaders view the retail pharmacy business.
Day-to-day experiences will vary, but includes providing critical views of our trends and performance to senior management, developing & executing various response strategies to market dynamics including patient outreach and store programs, and also partnering with operational improvement teams to provide analytical support on key innovation projects. The position requires the rare combination of deep technical (SQL programming) expertise as well as keen business acumen.
Team core responsibilities include:
• Operational Analytics: reporting and insight generation into retail pharmacy performance including sales, prescription trends, patient demographics, inventory management, operational processes and customer engagement
• Strategic Program Development: develop, implement and report on new patient outreach programs. Advanced Analytics: gain deep insight into the business through advanced analytical techniques such as logistic/linear regression and clustering to identify new sources of value Required Qualifications:
1+ year advanced data mining with SQL, SAS or other advanced analytical tools Superior analytical and problem solving skills High level of independent judgment and initiative required Ability to communicate effectively in a manner that is clear, logical and consistent Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact and influence at all levels including VPs and above Highest level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adjusting priorities as needed and meeting deadlines Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in retail analytics or database marketing a plus Demonstrated passion for working with data with experience leveraging data to solve complex business problems to drive value Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Computer Science, MIS or Mathematics or related field (or related experience) Business Overview:
