Rapidly expanding small business looking for someone who loves to learn. Our business caters to trial attorneys who want a visually compelling presentation for their jury to see. We animate car accidents, injuries, surgeries and basically anything else that is easier to show, than tell.
Working with well respected trial attorneys regarding the strategy of presentation, you will be involved in multi-million dollar cases and high-profile clients.
Responsibilities
Learn, try, then do.
There are so many different things we are asked to do by our clients, I cannot create a "list of responsibilities". I will teach you what you want to learn most, then apply that skill toward our workload whenever possible.
When new projects are started, we will meet and tear down the project into its components. From those components we can decide what you can do, what you want to do, and what it will take to teach you what you want to do.
As soon as I can bill your time to my client, you can bill your time to me. Our goal is to create employable people.
Requirements
I don't believe in degrees. A certificate that claims you know something is not enough.
A very strong general knowledge of computers is necessary.
Any experience in the following is beneficial:
3D modeling/animation (we use Maya),
Video production/postproduction (we use FinalCutPro)
Photoshop
AfterEffects
Matchmoving
Compositing
Law (law students are urged to apply, you will gain experience it would take years to get otherwise)
