Established in 1948, we've been serving New York City for 60+ years. In that time, David Rothman Framemaker has taken its place as one of the last unique artisan frame shops in New York--thanks to its current owner, David Rothman, a framer known for his creativity and artistic intuition.Picture framing is an art form in itself at DR Framemakers. We are a business that offers a vast selection of colours, textures and sizes, all of which are custom-built to accentuate any piece of artwork or photograph suitable for hanging.
As an intern at David Rothman, you would have the opportunity to work with a very knowledgeable group of individuals, get experience in the art industry from a different perspective, and take a very hands-on role in keeping the business organized and efficient.
Responsibilities
- Organize invoicing system and collect on outstanding invoices- Monitor project calendar, ensuring projects are on schedule
- If you had an interest in learning the business of artisan framing, we would happily include that as part of the experience.
Requirements
- Fluent in Microsoft Suite and basic knowledge of Quickbooks (for invoicing)- Organizationally talented
- Ability to work closely and fluidly with a small team
