Description

St. Louis Dance Theatre will provide college interns interested in dance and arts management the experience of working behind the scenes in the cities first professional jazz dance company.

Interns have the opportunity to:
enhance their skills and knowledge of arts management
working closely with the staff and artists of StLDT.
experience, and confidence in arts management.
receive an e-mail address and listing in all publications
potential college credit (when allowed through University)
complimentary tickets to all StLDT performances and events. during internship.

Responsibilities

Interns will be working with the managing director on development (grant writing, donor prospecting, record keeping) and marketing (social networking, desktop publishing, etc). Other general duties may be requested as needed.

Requirements

Requirements:
Be at least second-year undergraduate college student (business, marketing, management, or dance majors preferred)
Must have own laptop computer
Be available for a minimum of ten hours per week
Possess strong written and verbal skills
Be knowledgeable of Microsoft Office programs
Have excellent communication and organizational skills
Self-starter, highly motivated
Have transportation to and from office
