INTERNSHIP:

* Hiring 1-2 candidates
* Open to all majors
* 10-20 hours a week
* Off Campus
* Gas $ reimbursement for any travel
* Flexible start date


Interests: Social Media, Networking, Correspondence, Talent Scouting, Public Relations
Flexible Schedule: 9:00am - 5:00pm on WED and THUR, as well 9:00am - 1:30pm FRI
Location: Off-Campus. Work Days can be at cafes close to the UT Campus and/or the Home Office in NW Austin.

The technology field is booming and growing at a very fast pace, especially in cities such as Austin, San Francisco, and New York City. It’s a recession-proof market that is creating jobs in high demand. Technical Recruiters are employed with companies, such as Google, Facebook, Twitter, and more.

Responsibilities:

This role involves heavy outbound emails by use of Social Media tools and networking strategies. The skill set that this internship provides can be applied to all fields of business/interest. This work will ultimately provide you with the essential guidelines for building your personal career development.

Requirements:

* Must have own laptop
* Strong communications and grammar skills to assist with email correspondence
* Social Media Savvy (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn)
* Interest in building skills in networking and public relations

Preferred:

* Own car and valid Driver’s License
* Interest in Software Companies and startups
* Computer Science major
